उत्तिष्ठ Uttishtha
Arise with knowledge from the Gita & Upanishads
Recognize the gateways: desire, anger, greed—and let them pass.
त्रिविधं नरकस्येदं द्वारं नाशनमात्मनः । कामः क्रोधस्तथा लोभस्तस्मादेतत्त्रयं त्यजेत् ॥
Bhagavad Gita 16.21
Desire, anger and greed: these three are the gates to ruin of the self. So let them go.
These feelings – desire, anger, and greed – are doorways leading away from what’s true. They cloud your view and make things seem worse than they are. See them as what they are: temporary disturbances.
When anger rises, name it: 'This is anger.'
