उत्तिष्ठ Uttishtha
Arise with knowledge from the Gita & Upanishads
Notice your feelings, then continue your work; find steadiness.
दुःखेष्वनुद्विग्नमनाः सुखेषु विगतस्पृहः । वीतरागभयक्रोधः स्थितधीर्मुनिरुच्यते ॥
Bhagavad Gita 2.56
One whose mind is not shaken by sorrow, who does not crave pleasure, and who is free of attachment, fear and anger, is called a sage of steady mind.
A steady mind comes from not being swayed by sorrow or craving pleasure. Today, when you feel pulled by wanting or by sadness, simply notice it. Then, continue what you were doing.
When you feel pulled to want something, notice it, then breathe.
