उत्तिष्ठ Uttishtha

Arise with knowledge from the Gita & Upanishads

Meet your feelings; find steadiness within yourself.

शक्नोतीहैव यः सोढुं प्राक्शरीरविमोक्षणात् । कामक्रोधोद्भवं वेगं स युक्तः स सुखी नरः ॥

Bhagavad Gita 5.23

One who can bear the force of desire and anger here, before leaving the body, is steady and happy.

Today, whatever feelings arise—desire or anger—simply acknowledge their force. Bearing them, even briefly, brings steadiness. It's not about eliminating them, but about meeting them as they come.

When a strong feeling arises, pause and notice it without reacting.
